![]() ![]() More of a "convenience" than a big benefit though but nice. This should be a real time saver for moving things around after they are placed. The new Shuffle Tool makes it easy to rearrange events on the timeline. If Sony expands on this the way Apple did it could be "huge". I use Apple Logic Pro X and it has a companion iPad app and it's awesome to work with. It may be "big" to be able to scrub/play the timeline by swiping your iPad screen. It also has the collaboration aspect but I assume by "everyday user" you mean the home hobbyist. If you have an iPad, it looks like the free Vegas Pro Connect companion app gives you a control surface that allows similar control to something like a ShuttlePro costing $99. ![]() > " I'm a bit confused of what big benefits there is for the everyday user." I appreciate the real detail is not available yet which is strange as it’s on sale next week but I am hoping performance issues have been fixed. I was also hoping for a favourites set up for transitions and effects. I was hoping they have fixed the issues with the explorer windows as that is where most of the crash intermittent issues happen with me when I search for an FX or just look for transitions. Going on what they have outlined in the below link they have not mentioned fixing a number of the issues that was in VS12. So I have the full suite, so do I need the suite upgrade or will the core Vegas 13 do it. Probably like most people I already have NewBlue VI which comes with it now. There are three upgrades but most of what they offer with the Vegas 13 is what we already have with Vegas 12 as far as ancillary programs are concerned, there is no change to DVD architecture 6 even though it is full of bugs. I'm a bit confused of what big benefits there is for the everyday user. Looks like it’s available from April 17th.
